This December, Alexander Proudfoot set out to make the holiday shine brighter for children in need. In a joint effort with the United Way of Greater Atlanta, we provided gifts for the children of the Lilian Webb Learning Center.
The Lilian Webb Learning Center, located in Lawrenceville Georgia, is a school for underprivileged children ranging from five months to Pre-K. The center offers a learning and development environment for the children of parents who otherwise would not have access to this kind of day care facility. Our goal was to buy a Christmas gift for each of the approximately 90 children who attend the school.
In true Proudfoot fashion, we mapped out our plans and enlisted the help of the entire Atlanta office to wrap and label the gifts. On December 18th, team captains Lisa Nwachukwu, Paige Russell and Cindi Echelson drove out to the center to distribute the toys. As we gave each of the children a special gift, it was truly a heartwarming experience watching them open presents with such joy and excitement.
Thank you to the United Way and the entire North America unit for wrapping gifts and supporting our ongoing effort to engage our local communities.
