On April 17, Alexander Proudfoot set out to lend a helping hand in the community. In conjunction with the United Way, the team spent the day at Senior Connections – a resource center for senior citizens. The center, located in Atlanta, GA, prepares and delivers 2,500 meals daily to the elderly, as well as provide them with services such as home care, home repair and wellness seminars. Their number one goal is to help seniors live and sustain independent and active lives. The success of the Senior Connections center is largely attributed to volunteers, so it was a pleasure to do our part by packaging meals and playing bingo with the seniors.
A special thanks to the leaders of this Initiative: Cindi Echelson, Lisa Nwachukwu and Paige Russell. It was a blast working together as a team and contributing to a worthy cause.
